Kopke White Colheita 1940

Founded in 1638, Kopke is universally recognised as the first Port House in the industry’s history and has an incredible reputation for producing exceptional quality wines. This is an exceptionally rare White Colheita Port from 1940 made using the traditional white grapes of the Douro region (Arinto, Viosinho, Gouveio and Malvasia Fina). Though bottled with a good amount of residual sugar, White Port usually feels a little drier on the palate relative to other styles of Port and has flavours centred on dried stone fruits, citrus zest, hazelnuts and spices.
