Founded in 1638, Kopke is universally recognised as the first Port House in the industry’s history and has an incredible reputation for their range of Colheita Tawny Ports which are made from a single harvest, aged in wood for as long as possible and are only bottled upon commission. This is an exceptionally rare wine produced in 1940 and aged in wood for 80 years. It is immensely rich and concentrated yet displays remarkable freshness throughout, offering up notes of dried fruits, noble woods, roasted coffee beans, molasses and spices.
