Katsuyama Diamond Junmai Daiginjo

Established in 1688, Katsuyama is a sake brewery with traditions lasting well over three centuries. They were established to brew the upscale sake enjoyed exclusively by the feudal lords of the Sendai domain. Purity is the key word in this sake, from initial appearance and acidity, to clear-cut flavours, sweet rice notes, and beguilingly-contoured body. This is truly a liquid diamond, befitting the name.
