Karuizawa 31 Year Old Noh Mask Cask 155 1981

A rare bottling of Karuizawa from their legendary Noh Mask series. Aged in an ex-Sherry butt, this is a bold cask-strength single malt for fans of intense drams with big flavour. Baked apples, figs, marmalade, coffee, leather, passion fruit and black pepper dance on the nose while the palate is rich with dried fruit sweetness along with notes of coffee and smoke. The oak barrel leads on the finish, which is a touch drier with notes of baking spice.
