The Kapcsandy Family Winery was only established in 2005 but has already fostered a superb reputation for producing extremely limited quantities of exceptionally high-quality wine. From the cooler 2011 vintage, Roberta’s Reserve is 96% Merlot with 4% Cabernet Franc with greater softness and more elegance than other more bombastic iterations. It is still immensely charming and pleasurable with wonderful notes of plums, crème de cassis, mocha and dried flowers.
