Château Kamnik is a Macedonian winery founded in 2004. The Merlot Single Vineyard 2018 is made from 100% Merlot grapes, carefully selected from the vineyards surrounding the Kamnik winery. The 32 months of ageing in new American and French oak barrels gives this wine a complex nose that reveals fruity and spicy tones, with dominant aromas of dark and red berries, complemented with vanilla and coffee hints. The palate of this full-bodied wine is elegant and abundant in soft and integrated tannins, leading to a liquorice and chocolate character finish. Enjoy with strong cheeses and game dishes.
