This superb 8 Year Old Swiss Single Malt from the Etter Distillery is characterised by a subtle smokiness, derived from the vats in which the whisky was seasoned - which previously contained peaty whiskies from the Scottish Island of Islay. On the nose, a ripe bouquet of pears, sultanas, vanilla pod and dried plums. The palate displays beautifully malted, smoky and peppery notes, concluding on a warm and smoky finish. Distilled May 2011 and bottled June 2019.
