Founded by Salvo Foti, I Vigneri is an association of local Sicilian winemakers who seek to highlight the distinct growing sites of Etna. Fruit for the ‘Rosso’ grows at 700m elevation, in sandy, volcanic soils. The wine is a 50/50 blend of Nerello Mascalese and Nerello Cappuccio, with intense notes of red fruit, rosehip, smoke and earth.
