Henriques & Henriques is one of the largest vineyard owners on Madeira and has over 160 years of experience producing exceptional quality wines. This is a rare release made from 100% Boal from the 1957 vintage, aged for 45 years in the traditional ‘Canteiro’ system and bottled in 1992. Deep mahogany in colour, it exudes aromas of dried fruits, citrus marmalade, cloves, woodsmoke, dried honey and toasted nuts. This is an exceptionally complex sweet Madeira best served simply by itself as a decadent post-dinner treat.
