Hermitage Vin de Paille Jaboulet (Ex Estate) 2006
Vin de Paille is a sweet wine made from grapes left to dry on straw mats for three months. Iconic producer, Paul Jaboulet Ainé, release small quantities of this rich and unctuous wine made from 100% Marsanne grapes. A wonderful golden colour, it exudes notes of honey-drizzled stone fruits, citrus, golden sultana, grilled nuts and white flowers. An excellent food pairing wine, this would go perfectly alongside stone fruit desserts such as apricot tarte tatin.
