A very old and rare Grande Champagne cognac from Hermitage that was distilled all the way back in 1885. The initial smell of molasses characterises an extremely well-aged rancio. Spiced cherry and roasted walnut aromas complete the aroma profile. On the palate, the molasses, cherry and roasted walnut are all present, but also notes of turmeric, black truffle, figs, cocoa and almonds.
