This remarkably rare and old cognac has spent decades in its oak cask, slowly developing its rich aromas and complex flavours. There are notes of dark chocolate, roasted nuts, butterscotch, marmalade, herbs, cigar box, nutmeg and dried figs. On the palate, it is a beautifully balanced spirit, with a velvety softness which enhances the intense rancio.
