2008 will be remembered as one of the greatest vintages in Champagne, and this rosé from Domaine Henri Giraud is a perfect expression of that memorable year. Without any stainless steel and with the minimum of interventions and sulphur, the wine opens in the glass with enticing aromas of pears, dried orange peel, marmalade, toast and red berries. Full-bodied, concentrated and structured, the wine concludes with a long, intensely flavoursome finish. Only 800 bottles were produced.
