Situated in the grand cru village of Aÿ, Champagne Henri Giraud is to this day in the hands of the founding Giraud-Hémart family, who have farmed vines as far back as 1625. The 2013 vintage is a blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay which sees 6 years aging on the lees and a dosage of 6g/l. Apricot, tarte tatin and sweet spices on the nose are accompanied by a full bodied palate, balanced by a seam of bright acidity.
