Haut Brion Blanc 1995

Among the five prestigious First Growths, Château Haut-Brion stands apart as the only one situated outside of the Médoc region. It is located in the Pessac-Léognan area, slightly to the south, and is closely surrounded by the suburbs of Pessac. Its urban setting is somewhat unique for a property of this calibre, and it explains its relatively smaller size, even though there are still 51 hectares of vineyards. With a terroir spanning less than three hectares and an annual production kept discreet, Château Haut-Brion Blanc is among the most sought-after dry white wines in Bordeaux. The 1995 vintage featured an almost equal blend of Sémillon and Sauvignon Blanc.
