The 2ha Gaia Vineyard is the highest in the Clare Valley and is planted to Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. The 2011 provides a delicious example of a cooler, more European season, bursting with a fleshy immediacy. There are wonderful layers of lively bramble, blackcurrant and black plum throughout, with ample structure and tannin to age superbly.
