For many fine wine afficionados Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is the pinnacle of wine. Run for many years by the indefatigable Aubert de Villaine, the domaine consists of 25 hectares of biodynamically tended vineyards, all of which are of Grand Cru classification and includes some of the greatest terroirs in Burgundy. The 2009 vintage is widely regarded as exceptional and the DRC releases are incredibly aromatic, voluptuous and seamlessly balanced, with excellent potential longevity.
