For many fine wine aficionados Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is the pinnacle of wine. Run by the indefatigable Aubert de Villaine, the domaine consists of 25 hectares of biodynamically tended vineyards, all of which are of Grand Cru classification and includes some of the greatest terroirs in Burgundy. The 2015 is an intense and elegant Pinot Noir, with a characteristic red-fruited profile, together with complexity from mushroom, earth and cinnamon spice notes. Precise and polished.
