Graham`s The Stone Terraces Tappit Hen 225cl 2016

A tiny 2.9ha section of Graham’s prized Quinta dos Malvedos that dates back to the 18th Century has always stood out for its distinctive character and unparalleled quality, and in 2011, the decision was made to bottle it as a new limited production Vintage Port called The Stone Terraces. The 2016 release comprises fruit from two plots, one known as ‘Cardenhos’ and the other as ‘Port Arthur’, and is a Touriga Nacional dominant field blend. It is a remarkably concentrated and powerful wine but there is no shortage of purity and elegance to its fruit or prettiness in its floral aromatics. Built for the long haul, this will require at least a decade of cellaring to unlock its true potential.
