Graham`s Single Harvest Tawny 1940

Founded in 1820 by William and John Graham, for nearly two centuries Graham’s has cultivated its reputation as one of the greatest names in Port. Bottled in 2019, this is an incredibly rare release of aged tawny port from the 1940 vintage. Deep orange-brown in colour, it exhibits remarkably complex aromas of dried fruits, caramel, praline, roasted coffee beans, dark chocolate and spices. It is rich and luxuriant on the palate yet displays a brightness and levity that belies is age, finishing with a pep of acidity and salted caramel tang that makes the mouth water. Given its complexity and concentration, this is best enjoyed simply by itself.
