Graham`s Malvedos Half 2006

For almost two hundred years W & J Graham’s has been an independent family business renowned for producing the finest Port wines. The wines from Quinta dos Malvedos often provide the main structure of Graham’s classic Vintage Ports, however, in years that are not ‘declared’, they are sometimes bottled as a separate Single Quinta Port. The 2006 release is rich and intense with wonderful notes of crème de cassis, kirsch, liquorice and light floral hints. On the palate it is plush and velvety in texture with a fine weave of tannin, making it a candidate for earlier drinking but suggesting there also is the potential for cellaring.
