Gobelsburg Riesling Heiligenstein 2018

Schloss Gobelsburg is an exceptional producer based in the town of Langenlois, in the oldest and most prestigious Austrian region of Kamptal. This is a wonderful single-vineyard Riesling that is incredibly vibrant, pungent, slightly smoky and intensely mineral, but exhibits wonderfully perfumed notes of gooseberry, apricot and elderflower. An incredibly food-friendly wine, this would pair particularly well with sushi or lightly dressed shellfish dishes.
