This 1972 vintage Glenfarclas was bottled in May 2011 from cask #3551, which yielded 565 bottles. On the nose, there are some light notes of pecan pie, dried peach, leather, toffee and biscuits dunked in tea. The palate is autumnal and soft, evoking fruit compote and peppermint. This is what you expect from a fully matured Glenfarclas at its peak.
