Based in the heart of Gevrey-Chambertin, Joseph Roty is a family-owned Domaine producing a wide range of wines, from entry-level Bourgogne to highly sought-after Grand Crus. Joseph sadly passed away in 2008 and the estate is now overseen by his son Pierre-Jean. This village-level 1995 Gevrey-Chambertin comes from Champs Chenys, a lieu-dit where the vines are over 60 years old. The 1995 vintage produced red wines that were intense and well-balanced, with round and mellow tannins.
