Formed in 1988, Domaine A.F. Gros is a family-owned estate that produces red Burgundy from different appellations, including village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru expressions. Anne-Françoise’s children Caroline and Mathias are now leading the business, which is headquartered in Pommard. This particular cuvée comes from the Premier Cru ‘Combe au Moine’, one of the highest vineyards in Burgundy, reaching nearly 400 meters above sea level. The wines from this appellation are typically well structured, boasting bright red fruit and earthy nuances.
