Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, Armand Rousseau is one of the finest producers in the Côte de Nuits. Originally established in 1921, the domaine is now in its third generation with Eric Rousseau at the helm having taken over from his late father Charles in 2016. This release is from the premier cru Clos Saint-Jacques, presented here in a magnum. The wines from this vineyard are typically clear and well-balanced, featuring smooth tannins and dominant notes of blackcurrant and small black fruits.
