Founded in 1955, Domaine Claude Dugat is a boutique winery highly esteemed for its exceptional quality, often recognized as one of the top producers in Gevrey-Chambertin. Claude Dugat shares a familial connection with another prestigious Burgundy producer, Bernard Dugat, the proprietor of Domaine Dugat-Py. While the 1999 vintage favoured Burgundy, Bordeaux had a stronger showing in 2000. Nevertheless, this vintage offers appealing, fruit-forward, and charming wines.
