Founded in the 1850s, Domaine Fourrier is a prestigious wine producer based in Gevrey-Chambertin, in the Côte de Nuits. The estate is currently led by Jean-Marie Fourrier, the fifth-generation owner who took over the 10-hectare property from his father in the mid-1990s at the age of 23. This particular release comes from Cherbaudes, a premier cru vineyard within the Gevrey-Chambertin appellation. The 2019 vintage is a nuanced expression, with sweet fruit at the core complemented by spicy notes.
