Based in Morey-Saint-Denis, Domaine Dujac was formed in 1968 by Jacques Seysses, son of a successful biscuit manufacturer, Louis Seysses. Dujac is now considered one of Burgundy’s finest producers, with a worldwide reputation. This particular cuvée comes from Les Combottes, a lieu-dit south of the village of Gevrey-Chambertin where Dujac owns a 1.5-hectare plot. The 2007 vintage produced very low yields for the domaine but the wines turned out well-balanced, with plenty of charm and depth.
