Gaia Estate was founded in 1994 by winemakers Leon Karatsalos and Yiannis Paraskevopoulos and is well-known for superbly crafted modern Greek wines from the regions of Nemea and Santorini. Thalassitis is produced from 100% Santorini native grape variety, Assyrtiko, sourced from selected parcels in the Episkopi, Akrotiri and Pyrgos subzones where the vine age can be up to 80 years of age. Enjoy alongside fresh seafood or perhaps even lamb braised in a lemon sauce.
