The 2004 is a well-balanced blend of 66% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 10% Malbec and 3% Petit Verdot. This 20th anniversary blend features a lovely cassis and cherry bouquet, as well as intense fruit flavours of each of the five noble Bordeaux grapes included. The Cabernet exhibits black cherry and dark cocoa character, while the Merlot carries these flavours to the back of the palate where the Cabernet Franc offer notes of coffee and toffee to the finish. The Malbec brings a ruby richness, while the Petit Verdot lends a hand with red plum. An elegant and balanced wine.
