This is a superb example of Saint-Émilion from a vastly underrated vintage. The Decoster family have been exceptionally consistent over recent years and this is yet another classic release composed of 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. It has lovely aromas of blueberry, black cherry, plum, spring flowers, truffles and crushed minerals. Medium to full-bodied, perfectly ripe and sumptuously textured, this is a solid option for both early consumption and medium-term cellaring.
