The Farr estate is located between Geelong and Ballarat, 100km southwest of Melbourne. Gary Farr is widely regarded as a Pinot Noir master having clocked up multiple vintages at Domaine Dujac, Calera and Bannockburn. The 2017 Farrside is once again a gorgeous release that is svelte, silken and, though laden with notes of black cherry and strawberry, rides a superb line between sweetness and tartness. With a light whisper of perfectly ripe tannins, this also has good cellaring potential.
