The domaine has two plots in grand cru Echézeaux in Les Echézeaux Dessus and in Quartier de Nuits. The fruit is vinified together and aged in 90% new oak barrels. The balance, approximately 10% of press wine, is kept in one year old casks and the decision of how much vin de presse to include is only made at the last moment just before bottling. This is even richer and more powerful than Aux Perdrix with a wonderful, intense dark fruit flavour and fabulous persistent aftertaste. Drink now-2028.
