Formed in 1988, Domaine A.F. Gros is a family-owned estate that produces red Burgundy from different appellations, including village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru expressions. Anne-Françoise’s children Caroline and Mathias are now leading the business, which is headquartered in Pommard. This particular cuvée comes from the Grand Cru Échezéaux, where they own a 0.28-hectare plot. Despite the challenges faced in the 2012 vintage for Burgundy, it still managed to yield some exceptional wines, and this Échezéaux is a case in point.
