Echezeaux DRC 2019

Some influential producers in the world of fine wine need no introduction – Domaine de la Romanée-Conti is certainly one of them. With a rich heritage that goes back to the 16th century, DRC is co-owned by the Villaine and Leroy families and produces only grand cru wines. This 2019 Échezeaux comes from their 4.67-hectare plot in the prestigious vineyard, which has been fully biodynamic since the 2008 vintage. Expect a robust expression, with a firm tannin structure and plenty of fruit at its core, all complemented by savoury elements such as spices and herbs.
