Dow’s Vintage Ports are only produced in years of exceptional quality and only use selected fruit from the companies’ finest vineyards; Quinta do Bomfim and Quinta de Senhora da Ribeira. The 2000 is classically decadent but perfumed and elegant, with rich notes of damson, plum, dried flowers, dark chocolate and peppery spice. This would make the perfect accompaniment to strong blue cheeses.
