Senhora da Ribeira is a magnificent vineyard in the Douro Superior sub-region and is the source for much of the fruit for Dow’s classic Vintage Ports. However, in years that Dow’s do not ‘declare’ a Vintage, the wine produced is bottled as Dow’s Quinta de Senhora da Ribeira. The 2018 edition is a fabulous release composed of 45% Touriga Franca and 40% Touriga Nacional, with the rest Alicante Bouschet and Sousão. It is intense, perfumed and powerful, with at least four decades of potential evolution.
