Dominio del Aguila is a family-run winery based in the village of La Aguilera, in Ribera del Duero. Some of the vineyards are over 100 years old and farmed following organic and biodynamic methods. For their 2017 Reserva, winemaker Jorge Monzón used mainly Tempranillo, with a small addition of Blanca del País, Bobal, Garnacha and Tempranillo Gris. The wine is filled with aromas of blackberries, blueberries and dark cherries, while on the palate, there are intense notes of vanilla and spices with chalky tannins.
