Domaine de Chevalier is an illustrious Grand Cru Classé estate situated in Pessac-Léognan and is highly regarded for their superbly balanced and long-lived red and white wines. 2017 was a vintage affected by frost which meant that, whilst quality was still very high, yields were significantly reduced and a slightly higher than usual percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon was used in the final blend. The result is a beautifully dark-fruited, fragrant and elegant wine, with wonderfully fine tannins and bags of innate freshness.
