Diel Dorsheimer Pittermannchen Riesling Eiswein Half 2002
Based in the Nahe region of Germany, Schlossgut Diel has history stretching back to 1802 and remains a family owned and operated winery. Eiswein is an increasingly more difficult wine style to produce and can only be made when vintage conditions are perfect. It often creates an ethereally pure and intense style of wine with remarkable layers of complexity. Though just 1-hectare in size, Dorsheim Pittermännchen is one of the most famous vineyards in Nahe and is renowned for its Devonian slate soils.
