The 1985 Blanc de Blancs Collection is a late-disgorged release and the result of a wild vintage which saw a savagely cold winter followed by an unbelievably hot summer. The wine is classically voluptuous and displays lovely mature notes of orange peel, toasted nuts, mushroom and an almost sweet toffee apple aroma. At peak, this should continue to drink well for another few years.
