The 2012 Château de Ferrand is a blend of 77% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc and 9% Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose reveals toasty oak, black fruits such as blackberries and hints of spices. The palate is very rounded in the attack and development with well-integrated tannins and silky texture. A nice, well-balanced vintage which demonstrates the huge potential of de Ferrand.
