Pagos de Viña Real is produced from 100% old-vine Tempranillo from carefully selected plots in the Rioja Alavesa districts of Laguardia and Logroño. All fruit is hand-harvested and undergoes rigorous selection both in the vineyard and then at the winery to ensure that only the very finest grapes make the grade. It is matured in 225-litre French oak casks for 18 months. This is ideal for drinking now and over the next 3-5 years.
