Cullen Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2017

79% Sauvignon Blanc, 21% Semillon from Cullen Wines based in Wilyabrup, within the Margaret River wine region of Western Australia. The grapes were picked at optimal ripeness with cooler harvest conditions in 2017 resulting in elegant wines, displaying beautiful fruit purity. Enhanced complexity comes from maturing some of the wine in new oak. On the nose, a delightful combination of fresh cut grass, spicy and vanilla oak aromas supported by tropical notes. On the palate, vibrant fruit lifted by citrus nuances. Very complex already with lovely stone fruit nuances and toasty characteristics.
