Cragganmore 28 Year Old Octaves Duncan Taylor 1988

70 cl
£315.00
Distilled back in 1988 and bottled 28 years later in 2017 after a final three months in a tiny cask known as an octave - so small in fact that only 48 bottles were produced from the cask.

This is a lovely, densely flavoured dram with dried fruit, Christmas cake spice and notes of freshly cracked peppery. The oak barrel shows nice here offering aromas of milk chocolate on the nose and a lovely thread of vanilla and toasted nuts that runs from the palate to the finish.
