Coume del Mas was created by Philippe and Nathalie Gard in 2001 and principally produce characterful wines from the steep slopes around Banyuls sur Mer in the far southwestern corner of France. Quadratur is a wonderfully full-bodied and hedonistic wine made from 50% Grenache Noir, 30% Mourvèdre and 20% Carignan from AOP Collioure, with delicious notes of dark fruits, spices, wild herbs and earth. A brilliant pairing for hearty stews and roasted meats.
