Domaine Dervieux-Thaize was a small, traditional winery in the Côte-Rôtie appellation of the Northern Rhône. The estate has since been taken over by the winemaker`s son, René Rostaing, who continues the family legacy under his own label. La Viaillère is a specific vineyard site within the Côte-Rôtie appellation, known for producing exceptional Syrah grapes. Expect notes of dried red and black fruits, such as cherries, blackberries, and plums, accompanied by notes of leather, tobacco and earthy undertones. Decanting is recommended to allow the wine to open up and reveal its full potential.
