Domaine Gentaz-Dervieux is an iconic name in Côte-Rôtie though the domaine no longer exists. The legendary Marius Gentaz, who sadly passed away in 2011, was the winemaker and, using old vine Syrah located on the prestigious Côte Brune, he crafted just one Côte-Rôtie wine of which there are very few bottles remaining. The 1991 is richer in fruit than the 1990 but still remains a classically styled, medium-bodied and elegant wine, now at full maturity.
