Acquired by the Guigal family in 1995, Château d’Ampuis is nestled between the Rhône and the ancient vineyards of the Côte-Rôtie. Produced from seven of the most exceptional plots of the domaine, Château d’Ampuis offers up toasty aromas of spicy black fruit. Made from predominantly Syrah with a small percentage of Viognier and extended oak aging. Flavours of prunes, blackberry and vanilla on the palate, the 2018 is a tannic and muscular vintage.
